The course is designed to expose students to the entertainment in the hospitality and tourism industry. The course should enable students to use their innovative, leadership, creative skills and cultural background to formulate and manage entertainment within the tourism and hospitality context.
At the end of this course, students should be able to:
- Assess hotel and in-house entertainment and entertainment department.
- Discuss how culture influences entertainment and entertainment management.
- Outline and explain entertainment environment characteristics.
- Design entertainment concepts.
- Formulate an entertainment budget.
This course is open-entry. There are no prerequisites for entry.
